In a recent appearance on the Black Box podcast, he explained that between 2020 and 2026 he spent about ₦340 million on cannabis from just one supplier in Lagos.

He stressed this figure covered only a single dealer, while he also bought from other sources in Abuja, Jos, Ghana, and London.

Financial Wake-Up Call

Over time, he said the habit shifted from routine use into a serious financial burden he could no longer ignore.

Consequently, the total cost forced him to reassess his choices and change direction.

Lifestyle Reset And Health Focus

He then explained that he quit cannabis and alcohol as part of a wider personal reset.

In addition, he focused on improving his health, losing weight, and strengthening his discipline.

Furthermore, Ice Prince revealed that he has practised celibacy for some time, using it as another step towards mental clarity and self-control.

Earlier in his career, he rose to fame in the early 2010s and built a strong reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading hip-hop voices.

With hit songs like Oleku and Aboki, he stayed active in the music industry while gradually reshaping his lifestyle and personal outlook.
