Cubana Chief Priest, popularly known as Pascal Okechukwu, has faced a setback in his political journey after he failed to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Party Primary Outcome
He entered the race ahead of the 2027 general elections with the aim of clinching the party’s nomination and stepping into national politics.
However, the APC primaries ended his ambition as the incumbent lawmaker, Canice Moore Nwachukwu, who currently serves his second term, retained the ticket.
Meanwhile, Okechukwu, a well-known socialite and businessman, actively supported the ruling party and consistently backed its leadership.
