The family of late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has officially broken its silence.
They confirm her passing after reports emerged that she died on Saturday night, December 27, 2025.
In a statement shared by her friend and colleague, Rotimi Salami, the family clarified that the actress was 49 years old at the time of her death.
This corrected earlier reports within the entertainment industry which claimed she was 43 and had died following a heart attack at her residence.
The family expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming show of love, prayers and condolence messages received from colleagues, friends and well-wishers,
Also, they describes the support as a source of strength during the painful period.
In the statement signed by Adegboyega Adebayo, the family described Allwell Ademola as a gifted and passionate creative whose impact extended beyond the screen.
“She was a talented and dedicated artist who touched many lives through her work, passion and commitment to the creative industry,” the statement noted.
