Veteran music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has shared candid reflections on the personal cost of his illustrious career in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Speaking on the Echo Podcast, the 42-year-old hitmaker admitted that while his rise to the top has been rewarding.

However, one aspect of his life he may have unconsciously sacrificed is marriage.
“I never thought I’d be in my 40s and not married. Maybe that’s the one I lost along the way. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn’t, I’m totally fine,” Don Jazzy revealed when asked about the trade-offs he made for success.
The producer has been instrumental in building the careers of superstars like Tiwa Savage, Rema, and Ayra Starr.
He further noted that music would still define his life even if he were not leading a record label.

Despite acknowledging the personal sacrifices, Don Jazzy expressed deep fulfilment with his achievements in the music industry, emphasising that the journey has been worth it.
