Prince Bola Ajibola was a notable legal figure in Nigeria, having served as the President of the Nigerian Bar Association and later as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of Nigeria.

He also served as a Judge of the International Court of Justice before becoming the High Commissioner of Nigeria to the United Kingdom.

He was involved in various initiatives to promote peace and justice, including serving as a commissioner on the Eritrea-Ethiopia Boundary Commission and chairing a panel to investigate the Jos riots.
