2Baba has officially concluded his 20-year collaboration with Efe Omorogbe-led Now Muzik management company. This mutual disengagement is effective immediately.
In an Instagram announcement, Efe Omorogbe, the co-founder and CEO of Now Muzik, expressed gratitude to 2Baba for the trust and friendship, highlighting their joint achievements in building brands, creating music, and entertaining fans.
Omorogbe acknowledged 2Baba as one of the greatest Nigerian musicians ever and expressed pride in the collaborative journey, and pledged to continue to support him from the sidelines.
2baba on the other hand acknowledged the pivotal role Omorogbe and the Now Muzik team played in his career.
He said: “I know it’s a cliche but every good thing must come to an end. I owe a lot of my career success to Efe and his team at Now Muzik.
“Everything I’ve been able to achieve is a result of the support of so many people and organisations working with me to bring my talent and vision to life. Now Muzik is one of such companies and I couldn’t be more grateful to them’’
Over the 20-year partnership with Now Muzik, 2Baba won over 60 awards and achieved international success.
