Before Irele Tower stood tall, the Lagos Free Zone was already growing into an industrial hub, yet a landmark was still missing.
That moment arrived when Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu inaugurated Irele Tower, marking a new phase in the zone’s growth.

A New Landmark in Lagos Free Zone
The nine-storey building becomes the first commercial development within the Lagos Free Zone, signalling progress and ambition.
Sustainable Design And Innovation
Moreover, the tower represents sustainability and modern development.
As an EDGE-certified building, it uses 26% less energy and 46% less water, and it sets an eco-friendly standard in Nigeria.
Its design tells a clear story.
The architects drew inspiration from maritime architecture, and they reflected its proximity to the Lekki Deep Sea Port and global trade.
Driving Growth Through Partnership
Speaking at the inauguration, Governor Sanwo-Olu described the project as part of a wider vision for Lagos.

“The commissioning of Irele Tower shows what strong public-private collaboration can achieve,” he said, emphasising partnerships’ role in Lagos’ future.
From the Lagos Free Zone’s perspective, the tower forms part of a broader strategy.
Adesuwa Ladoja explained that it meets rising demand for quality commercial space.
Meanwhile, investor interest in the Lekki corridor grows rapidly, and this increases demand for modern workplaces.
“The commissioning of Irele Tower is a defining milestone,” Ladoja said.
It supports ease of doing business and improves operational efficiency.
Inside, the tower offers about 12,000 square metres of offices, retail, and shared workspaces, and it includes parking and a rooftop cafeteria.
Finally, Tolaram promotes the 860-hectare Lagos Free Zone, and it connects businesses to regional and global markets via the Lekki Deep Sea Port.
