Gigi, the ex-girlfriend of popular streamer Kai Cenat, has spoken out to defend herself
This follows a viral clip showing her asking the content creator for multiple luxury cars and designer bags.
Addressing the backlash in a video, Gigi explained that her expectations were shaped long before her relationship with Kai.
She insisted that she had always been accustomed to an expensive lifestyle.
“Before Kai, I was getting stuff. I’ve always had it. How am I going to be in a relationship with someone and not expect the things I was already getting?” she said.
She went on to recount her teenage years.
Also she reveals that luxury had been part of her upbringing.
According to her, she was already driving high-end cars well before adulthood.
“Y’all don’t even want to know the kind of cars I was asking for at my sweet 16. I was 16 driving a Benz. At 14 or 15, I was taking my parents’ luxury cars to school,” she added.
Gigi maintained that her lifestyle did not suddenly change because of her relationship with the streamer.
She questioned why her expectations should drop simply because she was dating someone new.
She also hinted that her relationship status with Kai Cenat remains complicated, stating:
“We’re not together, but stuff is still going on.”
