Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a strong warning to individuals impersonating her on social media, particularly on TikTok, following reports of online scams targeting her fans.

The movie star revealed that a woman has been posing as her on TikTok, using her name and content to extort money from unsuspecting followers.

According to Tonto Dikeh, the impersonator has also been reposting her videos while falsely presenting herself as the actress rather than a fan page.

Speaking in a video broadcast, Dikeh disclosed that law enforcement agencies are already tracking the suspect.

She stated that investigations have confirmed the impersonator is a woman and warned that she would pursue the matter to the fullest extent of the law.

Dikeh stressed that public pressure or social media reactions would not deter her from seeking justice, adding that the impersonator would face jail time once apprehended.

The actress urged fans to remain cautious online and to verify accounts claiming to represent her on social media platforms.
