Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has joined her brother, actor Timini Egbuson, to mourn the passing of their father, who died on Thursday January 1, 2026.
Taking to social media, Dakore shared emotional photos of herself with her late father and expressed deep heartbreak over the loss.
She, however, noted that she finds some comfort in knowing he is finally free from pain.
In her tribute, the actress described her father as a loving man whose legacy of excellence, love for music, and sense of style left a lasting impression on her and her siblings.
She acknowledged the complexities within their family but emphasised that he was immensely loved and would be deeply missed.
Dakore also appealed to her fans, fondly called Dakorians, to remember her father and the family in prayers as they grieve the devastating loss.
