Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she began smoking at the age of 13 and struggled with the addiction for 27 years before gaining freedom.

The actress made the disclosure while sharing her testimony during a Sunday service at Streams of Joy International Church.
Tonto Dikeh also opened up about battling alcohol addiction, masturbation, and prolonged anger issues, which she described as “demonic oppression.”
Dikeh attributed her deliverance from the addictions to divine intervention, explaining that noticeable changes began when her spiritual life improved.
She disclosed that her smoking habit was influenced by her upbringing, noting that her father was a smoker.
The 40-year-old actress urged parents to be mindful of the habits they expose their children to, warning that such exposure could have long-term consequences.
She further revealed that God recently healed her from what she described as “demonic anger,” which she said previously affected her relationships and personal life.
Following her testimony, the founder of Streams of Joy International Church, Pastor Jerry Eze, prayed for the actress, declaring that the “burden of sin is broken” and describing her as “a voice in her generation.”
