Lege Miami recently criticised several Super Eagles players on social media following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

While he commended Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Fredrick, and Calvin Bassey, he strongly condemned others, including Nwabali.

He wrote:
Lege Miami, remove my late dad’s name from your mouth when creating your content. If you won’t respect people’s fathers, at least respect the dead. I’m not your regular type of footballer. You’re free to insult me, but keep my late dad’s name out of your mouth.”
