Lamine Yamal mocked YouTuber Ibai Lanos and told him to “go to sleep” during a wild celebration after the Barcelona wonderkid saw his team to victory in a “Clasico” in Gerard Piqué’s Kings League.
His over-the-top gestures came hot on the heels of another fiery moment during a Twitch stream, where he accused Real Madrid of “stealing and complaining”, a dig that has not gone down well within the Los Blancos dressing room.
It all began when Yamal joined Llanos and Pique for a friendly chat ahead of their Kings League clash.
The teenager, who co-owns La Capital FC, was set to face Llanos’ team Porcinos FC when the Madrid question came up.
Llanos, a self-confessed Madridista, jokingly asked if Porcinos reminded Yamal of Real Madrid.
Without letting go of the opportunity to take a sly dig at Madrid, Yamal fired back, “Yes, of course, they steal, they complain…”.
Llanos, half-shocked, pressed him again: “Real Madrid steals?” Yamal laughed but doubled down, muttering, “Well, let’s see, let’s see.”
Things did not stop there, and it got carried forward to the pitch.
After leading his Kings League team to a victory in their own mini “Clasico,” the winger aimed a jab at Llanos once again and gestured for him to go to sleep during a chaotic on-pitch celebration after a 5-4 victory.
Real Madrid’s locker room fuming at Yamal
At Madrid’s training base in Valdebebas, Yamal’s jibe didn’t go down well.
According to Marca, the reaction was one of “fatigue and irritation.”
Some Madrid players reportedly see Yamal as a “bad teammate”, not within Barca’s squad, but among professionals who refuse to respect certain unwritten codes among footballers.
Worse still, the irony wasn’t lost on Los Blancos, who pointed to the ongoing Negreira Case, in which Barcelona are accused of paying the former vice-president of Spain’s refereeing committee.
The comments, if anything, have fired up Madrid even more ahead of Sunday’s Clásico.

Mbappe vs Yamal: A New-Generation Clasico
Football fans over the last decade have been used to seeing Cristiano Ronaldo squaring up against Lionel Messi in El Clasico.
With the passage of time, the legends of the game have settled in Saudi Arabia and the United States, respectively, and a new age rivalry has taken centre stage with Sunday’s clash all about Yamal versus Kylian Mbappe, the two global superstars of their generation.
Remarkably, the pair have already met eight times across club and international competitions.
Yamal has won seven of those encounters, while Mbappé’s teams have managed victory just once.
Among their most memorable battles was Barcelona’s 5–2 demolition of Real Madrid in the Supercopa de España, followed by a 3–2 Copa del Rey triumph.
However, statistically, Mbappe has outscored him in those duels with eight goals to six.
Even Mbappe’s compatriot, Zinedine Zidane, couldn’t help but shower Yamal with praise.
“Regardless of position, one player who excites me when he touches the ball is Lamine Yamal,” he said.
“Against Inter last year in the Champions League at San Siro, he did it all on his own.
“Then I think of Vitinha or Joao Neves.
“They never lose the ball.
“When you see him (Yamal) play, for example, the semi-final against Inter Milan.
“In the second half… I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.
“It’s enough to see someone who is so dominant on the pitch.
“It’s fabulous to see him like that.
“So we all enjoy ourselves and that’s why, for all these young people, Lamine is the one to watch.”
As the dust settles from Yamal’s off-field fireworks, the focus now shifts to the real on-field battle.
Barcelona enter the game two points behind Real Madrid after nine matchdays, knowing that a win could propel them back to the top spot.
