Bloomberg estimates Cristiano Ronaldo’s wealth at $1.4 billion (£1.04 billion), factoring in his career earnings, endorsements, and investments.

Between 2002 and 2023, Ronaldo reportedly earned over $550 million (£410 million) in salary.

His endorsement deals, including a decade-long partnership with Nike worth nearly $18 million (£13.4 million) annually, have also contributed significantly to his fortune.

Ronaldo made headlines in 2022 when he joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, becoming the highest-paid player in football history with an annual salary of £177 million.

His new two-year contract extension, valued at over $400 million (£298 million), will see him remain at the club beyond his 42nd birthday.

Meanwhile, his long-time rival Lionel Messi has earned more than $600 million (£447 million) in pre-tax salary throughout his career, including $20 million (£15 million) annually since joining Inter Miami in 2023 about 10% of Ronaldo’s current income.
