Netflix has released the highly anticipated Season 2 trailer for its Emmy-winning romantic comedy Nobody Wants This.
Nobody Wants This, created by Erin Foster, stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as interfaith couple Joanne and Noah, whose love story continues with new twists and challenges.
The new season premieres on October 23.
Adding more excitement, Brody’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester, joins the cast as Abby, a social media influencer and Joanne’s middle school rival.
Kristen Bell expressed her excitement at Meester’s casting, calling her “a lovely person,” while Foster revealed it was a thrill to write scenes featuring Meester and Brody together.
The star-studded ensemble also includes returning cast members Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons and Stephanie Faracy.
Also, Paul Ben-Victor, Tovah Feldshuh, D’Arcy Carden and Sherry Cola.
New faces this season include Seth Rogen as Rabbi Neil, alongside Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky and Arian Moayed.
Season 1 ended with Joanne and Noah navigating the fallout of her decision not to convert, nearly ending their relationship.
However, Noah ultimately chose to stay with Joanne, reaffirming their love above religious differences.
Kristen Bell, who earned an Emmy nomination for her role, praised Brody’s acting, saying, “He never feels like he’s saying written lines.
