Veteran Nollywood actress, Toyin Afolayan, popularly known as Lola Idije, has dismissed the misconception that her on-screen characters mirror her real-life personality.
She is often cast as a tough mother-in-law in Yoruba movies.

Also, she also credited her late brother, Adeyemi Afolayan, famously known as Ade Love for instilling in her a disciplined approach to acting.
Lola Idije’s big break came in 1995 when she starred as Madam Adisa in the hit movie Deadly Affair.
