Media personality Toke Makinwa has delivered an inspiring message to women.
She urges them not to let societal expectations about marriage and childbearing define their worth.

At 40, Toke recently welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Yakira Eliana, and shared how God’s timing has been perfect in her life despite years of criticism.
Taking to Instagram, she posted screenshots of negative messages from trolls.
She uses them to highlight the constant pressure women face over marital status and motherhood.
Also, she stressed that marriage and children should not be regarded as the ultimate measure of a woman’s success.
Toke Makinwa encouraged women to focus on personal growth, trust God’s timing, and ignore societal noise.
She noted that despite the negativity, she has found joy and fulfilment in motherhood at the right time.
The new mother reflected on her journey, saying that no matter how much women achieve in their careers, society still glorifies what they lack rather than celebrating their progress.
She urged women not to “settle,” but to wait patiently for God’s perfect timing.
Acknowledging her own struggles with fear during pregnancy, Toke Makinwa revealed how her faith in God gave her strength and peace, allowing her to embrace this new season with gratitude.
