YouTube TV recently hiked the price of its monthly subscription to $72.99/month.
According to the Google-owned company, a rise in “content costs” for the change is the reason for its $8 increase.
However, despite the price hike, YouTube TV users still complain of poor picture quality among many other issues.
Finally, the company is addressing the issues, including an increased bitrate for some live content.
It starts with a fix for the 5.1 surround sound syncing issue and a major upgrade for the YouTube TV app for Apple TV.
In a Reddit post, YouTube TV reveals that it is testing transcoding changes that will increase the bitrate for live 1080p content.
The higher bitrate signified an even better video quality for users.
