Lift Me Up, the official soundtrack for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” co-written by Rihanna, Tems, Ludwig Göransson, and Ryan Coogler, has been nominated for the 2023 Golden Globe Awards for “Best Original Song, Motion Picture.”
This comes after the nominations for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced on Monday.
In response to the nomination, Marvel Studios issued a tweet congratulating the musicians and songwriters on their selection for the prestigious award.

In competition with “Lift Me Up” were four other films: “Carolina” (Where the Crawdads Sing), “Ciao Papa” (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio), “Hold My Hand” (Top Gun: Maverick), and “Naatu Naatu” (Top Gun: Maverick) (RRR).
According to the Golden Globes, the winners will be announced on January 10, 2023, in a live NBC and Peacock-televised show from the Beverly Hilton, hosted by American stand-up comedian Chris Rock.
