The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday presided over the Federal Executive Council meeting at the State House in Abuja.

The meeting commenced with the National Anthem followed by the arrival of Osinbajo at 10:05 am.
The opening prayers were said by Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo and his Power counterpart, Abubakar Aliyu.
Seven ministers were physically in attendance at the weekly FEC meeting.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and the Head of Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan were in attendance.
Among ministers in attendance are Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Power, Abubakar Aliyu; Ministers of State for Labour and Employment; Festus Keyamo; Industry, Trade and Investment, Mariam Katagum; Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba; that of Health, Joseph Ekumankama; as well as Agriculture and Rural Development, Mustapha Shehuri.
Others cabinet members joined the meeting virtually from their various offices. President Muhammadu Buhari was not in attendance on Wednesday. Buhari is currently in Washington DC, United State to attend the United States-Africa Leaders Summit.
President Buhari was accompanied by Governors Bala Mohammed and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Bauchi and Kwara States, respectively. He is expected to return to Nigeria on December 18, 2022.
