Well, earlier in the day, President Muhammadu Buhari had asked Nigerians to collect the vote buying money and vote for their choice candidate.
It was a statement that made the president appear like he supports vote buying.
However, the antigraft agency in Nigeria will not sit and wait till people get the vote buying money.
As a result it deployed a strategy to arrest people that will engage in the crime.
That strategy yielded result during the governorship and State House of Assembly election.
While people voted, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) moved around in different states. Their aim was to find people trying to by votes.
In Ilorin, Kwara State, they made a big catch.
