University Of Transportation In Daura Now Admitting Students

The University of Transportation in Daura would welcome new students for the first time in 2024.

This is after JAMB conducts its UTME and students choose it as their destination for tertiary education.

University of Transportation, Daura, is opening its doors to intending students ahead of the 2024 academic year.

Intending undergraduates wishing to enroll in the newly-established Muhammadu Buhari Federal University of Transportation, Daura, FUTD, Katsina State, can now do so on the JAMB portal.

This is as the university is now listed on the admission board’s website.

The institution’s pioneer vice-chancellor, Prof. Umar Katsayal, announced the development on Wednesday.

“The management of FUTD wishes to inform the general public that the university is now on the JAMB portal,” he told reporters Katsina.

“JAMB candidates who wish to join the university with the aim of building a career in the transportation industry can now visit the JAMB portal for a change of institution and programme of their choice.”

Katsayal listed programmes offered by the university to include B.Eng. Civil Engineering; B.Eng. Electrical and Electronics Engineering; and B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering.

Others, he said, were B.Eng. Mechatronics Engineering; B.Eng. Railway Engineering; B.Eng. Highway Engineering; B.Sc. Aviation Management; and B. Sc. Transport Management; B.Sc. Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
He also explained that admission requirements were five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
