The year 2023 has begun on a bright note for the popular Nollywood star, Toyin Abraham.
The Ijakumo producer probably never imagined that she would top the list of highest paid Nigerian actresses, above the likes of Funke Akindele, Mercy Johnson, Toni Tones amongst others.
To the surprise of fans, Film One Entertainment awarded Toyin Abraham as the highest paid actress in 2022 over other veterans on January 25, 2023.
Toyin, who came first, earned 611 million naira, followed by, Mercy Johnson, who came second earned 377 million naira.
Toni Tones came in third with 328 million naira, Funke Akindele, 291 million Naira, among other Nigerian actresses in 2022.
The successful wife and mother celebrated her win and colleague’s achievements on her Instagram page, thanking her well wishers for their support so far.
Her fans couldn’t hold back their reactions in her comment section as many expressed how her dedication and humility in the movie industry over the years paid off.
Toyin Abraham is happily married to Nigerian actor, Kola Ajeyemi, their union is blessed with a child.
She is popular for producing blockbuster movies like Alakada, The Ghost and the Tout, The Prophetess and her most recent movie Ijakumo airing in cinemas home and abroad.
The Star actress dedicated her title to praise the other actors who appeared in her new movie, Ijakumo.
