Going by what Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the incoming president of Nigeria, said, she would be one of the country’s oldest first ladies.
According to Mrs. Tinubu, she is 63 years old.
She was speaking on Sunday during the presidential inauguration interdenominational church service at Abuja’s National Christian Centre.
Oluremi, a senator from Lagos Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, also stated that her spouse is 71 years old.
She thanked God for her husband’s victory in the presidential election on February 25.

“I can tell you that we never imagined this could happen, but we are grateful to God for giving us hope.
“Asiwaju is 71 years old, and I will be 63. I’m sure I’ll be one of Nigeria’s oldest first ladies.
“We need God’s grace and everyone to do what they are expected to do.
“Today, God has truly demonstrated himself, just as he did on the night of the primaries, and stamped his seal on it.
“Perfection is the order of the day in Nigeria,” she said, giving a hint of what her husband’s leadership will bring with it.
