The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has revealed that the picture of its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu with US president, Joe Biden is fake.
A picture of Tinubu and Biden began circulating on social media, amidst rumors that the presidential candidate was in the United States.
The campaign council accused the ‘Obidient’ supporters of the Labour Party, of starting the rumors.

Bayo Onanuga, the Director of Media and Publicity of the APC PCC, said this in an interview with the media on Wednesday.
“A viral photograph showing Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and U.S President, Joe Biden in talks at the White House is the latest in the series of misinformation being dished out by the political opposition.
“We cannot just fathom the purpose of the mischief and the falsehood which emanated from the rabid followers of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate.
“The apparently photo-shopped image surfaced Tuesday night, on the heels of news that Asiwaju will embark on a foreign trip this weekend,” he said.
Onanuga revealed that Tinubu is not scheduled to leave Nigeria until the weekend when he is supposed to speak at Chatham House in London.
