Again, Nigeria has come face-to-face with dealing with terrorists’ abduction of students, with an unknown number of them missing.
The students of the Federal University of Gusau in Zamfara State are missing, and Nigerians are speaking up against the level of insecurity.
On getting to know about this abduction, President Bola Tinubu directed security agencies to rescue the remaining female students of the Federal University Gusau.
They were abducted by terrorists on Thursday.
The president’s media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, stated on Sunday in Abuja that Tinubu condemned the reprehensible act of abduction.
He added that the president said there was no moral justification for such heinous crime against innocent victims whose only “offence’’ was their pursuit of quality education.
Also, the president assured the families of the safe return of the abducted students.
He says no effort will be spared in ensuring their safe return.

President Tinubu pledged that the Federal Government would ensure that educational institutions remained sanctuaries of knowledge, growth, and opportunity, and totally free from the menacing acts of terrorists.
According to witnesses, female students were sleeping about midnight on Thursday.
Their hostels were at Sabon Gida where students reside outside the main campus of the university.
In that operation, terrorists took away an unknown number of the students.
Meanwhile, some escaped from the terrorists.
