Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has openly expressed her deep appreciation and joy for Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, following his unwavering love and commitment to her daughter, Priscilla Ojo.
The actress took to Instagram on February 13, 2025, a day after Juma Jux’s romantic second proposal to Priscilla, to share her heartfelt emotions and reflect on her journey as a mother.
Iyabo Ojo, who has often spoken about her experiences as a single mother, recounted the challenges she faced raising her children while maintaining faith in brighter days ahead.
She reminisced about the times she reassured herself and other women in similar situations that struggles were only temporary and that perseverance and faith would eventually lead to happiness.
“Years ago, I’d tell myself, ‘You’ll pass through tunnels, but have faith; there’s light ahead.’ I was preaching to myself, building my own faith. And I’m glad that many of you, especially single mothers, have found hope and inspiration in my journey.”
Beyond appreciating Juma Jux as her daughter’s husband, Iyabo Ojo went further to embrace him as family, referring to him affectionately as “MY SON“.
She commended his love, care, and devotion to Priscilla.
Also, she highlighted how important it is for a mother to see her child genuinely happy and loved.
“Juma, you are more than a son-in-law; you are MY SON. Thank you for loving my daughter the way you do. May your union be blessed with joy, peace, and endless love.”
