Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter are among the top finalists for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), alongside Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen.
Set to be hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau, the prestigious event will air on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
“We are thrilled to bring the 2024 Billboard Music Awards to multiple platforms, ensuring fans have more options to watch the very artistes they helped propel to the top of the charts,” said Jay Penske, chairman and CEO of PMC and CEO of Dick Clark Productions, in a statement.
As part of the evening’s entertainment, Shaboozey will deliver a special performance from W Hollywood, one of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio properties.
Additional performers and special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
The BBMAs recognise the year’s top artistes, albums, songs, producers, and songwriters across multiple genres, based on year-end performance metrics from Billboard’s charts.
This year’s eligibility period runs from 28 October 2023 to 19 October 2024.
