Taraji P. Henson is set to return as the host for the BET Awards, marking her third time hosting the event.
The acclaimed actress expressed her excitement, stating, “I am thrilled to be returning as the host of the BET Awards for the third time.”
“I am also looking forward to celebrating my peers and the impact of our culture on entertainment.”

The awards ceremony, scheduled for June 30, will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Among the highlights, Usher will be honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
Drake leads the pack with seven nominations, including Album of the Year for “For All the Dogs (Scary Hours Edition)” and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist.
Notably, he’s also up for multiple awards for his collaboration “Rich Baby Daddy” with SZA and Sexyy Red.
Competing alongside Drake is Nicki Minaj, who secures six nominations, while artistes like Lil Durk, J. Cole, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Doja Cat also received nominations in various categories.
The BET Awards will be live on BET at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 30.
