A fierce battle broke out between military forces in Sudan on April 15.
The battle is between the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The RSF leader, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo and the SAF leader, General Fattah al-Burhan are fighting over how Sudan should be run.
Both generals have refused to back down and this has led to the death of hundreds, leaving thousands of others injured.
Countries have started evacuating their citizens from Sudan and ensuring their safe return home.
United State President Joe Biden has announced that US government personnel and their families had been evacuated.

Also, the SAF leader announced that Diplomats and nationals from the UK, US, France, and China are to be evacuated from Sudan by air.
Canada Evacuation
Canada has told its citizens in Sudan that evacuations are “not possible at this time”.
This is due to the closure of air space as a result of the ongoing battle.
In a tweet on Saturday, the Canadian government urged its citizens to “continue to shelter in place.
Furthermore, the Canadian government assured them it was “coordinating with other countries to respond to the crisis”.
Earlier on Saturday, Saudi Arabia said it evacuated Canadian nationals from Sudan to Saudi Arabia.
However, the number of Canadians it had helped to evacuate was not revealed.
