The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Damilola Basirat Ayinde Marshal as his Senior Special Assistant – SSA On Tourism.

Damilola Basirat Ayinde Marshal is a well-read Lagos-based lawyer.
Before her appointment as SSA, she served as the Principal Partner of a leading law firm situated in Lagos – Damilola Ayinde Marshal & Company.
The commercial law firm serviced both international and local clients on a broad spectrum of practice areas.
Areas ranging from Property Law, Criminal Defense, and Corporate Law Practice to Family and Estates Law.
Basirat is a realtor and she is widely travelled.
She attended Nigeria Law School, Abuja for her Bar Part 1, after excelling in her undergraduate studies in 2013.
King Wasiu Ayinde’s Daughter
Afterwards, she proceeded to the Nigeria Law School, Lagos for her Bar Part 2 program and was called to the Nigerian Bar immediately afterward in 2015.
Damilola was awarded a Master of Laws from the prestigious University of Lagos in 2022.
Also, she is the daughter of popular Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.
Congratulations poured in for her as many are of the opinion that the position is well-deserved.
