Structural Challenge
Chief on the list of Nigeria’s problems is a structural challenge.
Nigeria’s structural issues include inadequate infrastructure, and tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade.
Others are obstacles to investment, lack of confidence in currency valuation, and limited foreign exchange capacity.
Social Issues
Similarly, Nigeria faces a myriad of social challenges affecting growth. Insecurity takes the first position.
Under insecurity, there is banditry and kidnappings, continued insurgency by terrorist groups, and separatist agitations

Ethnic and Religious Factors
You see, ethnicity and religion divide the people most in Nigeria. These two factors are a major setback to the nation’s drive toward development.
The citizens are almost always divided by ethnicity and religious affiliations so unity and oneness are never invited to the party.
These factors often determine political allegiances, loyalties, and conflicts
Even in business these two factors often find a way of rearing their ugly heads and marring progress.
Solutions
