Rodri has travelled with the Manchester City squad to Paris as the Ballon d’Or winner continues to recover from his ACL injury.
The midfielder has not featured for City since September 2024 after he ruptured his ACL during a Premier League clash against Arsenal.
Since then he has undergone surgery and is following an extensive rehabilitation plan at the moment.
Amid his recovery, Manchester Evening News reports that the Spaniard has travelled with the Cityzens’ squad to the French capital for their upcoming Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.
Rodri, however, has not been named in the club’s 21-member travelling squad as the MEN report claims that he is working on his recovery and is still a long way from playing a match.
The Ballon d’Or winner, though, is eyeing an early comeback and hopes to feature for the English champions towards the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
John Stones is back in the matchday squad for the first time in a month, while Nathan Ake and Jeremy Doku miss out.
Doku had a brilliant outing City’s thumping 6-0 win over Ipswich Town in the Premier League last weekend, but the Belgian reportedly picked up an injury that will see him sidelined in the Champions League.
