Christian Pulisic has made USMNT history with his 30th international goal, becoming the quickest man to reach that mark for his country.
The AC Milan forward, who enjoyed a career-best year in front of goal at club level in 2023-24, was on target for the United States, as they opened their Copa America campaign with a 2-0 victory over Bolivia.
Pulisic also posted an assist in that contest while donning the captain’s armband.
However, the USMNT continue to look to Pulisic for inspiration, with the 25-year-old having been a talismanic presence in their ranks for some time.
He is a Champions League winner from his time at Chelsea and an experienced performer that knows all about competing at the very highest level.
He delivered again when it matters most against Bolivia, with his goal in that contest coming inside three minutes – the fastest that the USMNT have ever posted against CONMEBOL opposition.
That strike also took him to 30 through 69 senior international appearances, which is another notable record.

However, Pulisic has moved into the top five on the United States’ all-time goal chart, with 30 strikes pulling him level with Brian McBride.
Only Eric Wynalda, Jozy Altidore, Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey sit above him – wit the top two boasting 57 goals apiece.
