A large crowd of protesters, supported by various groups from different parts of Kaduna, demanded that President Bola Tinubu must step down.
The protesters initially assembled at the Stadium Roundabout within Kaduna metropolis.
The protest began at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, marching from Junction Road towards Ahmadu Bello Road, chanting, “Tinubu ze soka’ kaa’sa.”
Protesters were spotted with banners and flags in Nigerian green-white-green colors, and placards reading, “#End Hunger in Nigeria.”
The group gathered around the Stadium Roundabout before starting their march. They hailed military vans and chanted, “Tinubu yaa’so’ka, mu’na so soja.”

Police vans with anti-riot officers blared sirens to manage the growing crowd of protesters.
Additional security agents were stationed at strategic points on Ahmadu Bello Road and Central Market.
By 10:45 a.m., more protesters joined from Constitution Road, Saudana Crescent, Katuru Road, and Abuja Road, increasing the crowd.
Some flew a flag resembling the Russian flag. They chanted in Hausa, “Bama so,” meaning “We don’t want hunger.”
A faction of the group burned and tore the Nigerian flag. Despite police efforts to calm the situation, protesters pushed towards the Government House.
Security personnel called for reinforcements as the protest continued to escalate.
