The protest Nigerians intend to embark on against bad governance, continuous inflation and hunger scheduled to hold on Thursday August 1, 2024 has been gathering mixed reactions.
While some think the demonstration will help drive home their demands to the government, others are attacking the protest plan.
Some government agencies have urged citizens not to protest as thugs may seize the opportunity to loot and vandalize properties.
Also, some individuals fear a replay of the ENDSARS protest outcome which led to the loss of many lives and properties.
The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun amongst other persons said violence of any form from protesters would not be condoned.
