Popular Nigerian gospel singer Dele Agbeyo, professionally known as Dele Gold, has passed away.
The singer reportedly died on Wednesday following a brief illness.
The news of Dele Gold’s death was confirmed by his colleague, Alayo Melody, who expressed shock and sadness in a post on his official social media page.
“Dele Gold died kee? Ahhh This is getting too much! May God help us stop this untimely death. Dele Agbeyo, may your soul rest well,” Melody wrote
Dele Gold, affectionately referred to as The Miliki Gospel King, was renowned for his unique style of blending traditional Yoruba sounds with gospel music.
Furthermore, he hailed from Usi, Ekiti State, but was raised in Faforiji, Osun State
Over the years, he carved out a significant niche in the gospel music scene.
His song became known for their uplifting and soulful tunes that touched many hearts.

His passing is particularly tragic, coming just a month after the death of another gospel singer, Aduke Gold.
