Nigeria’s national carrier, Nigeria Air, is finally here. It touched down for the first time in Abuja at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
It is in fulfilment of the promise of the Minister of Aviation.
The minister, Hadi Sirika, had consistently told Nigerians that the national carrier would fly before the end of the current administration.
It is three days to the end of Buhari’s administration.
Sirika uploaded a video of the aircraft in motion on his official Twitter account on Friday.
Sirika wrote: “We are here. To Almighty God be all the glory.
“It has been a very long, tedious, daunting and difficult path.
“We thank everyone for the support. This, by the will of God, will be for us and generations to come.
“Ya Allah make it beneficial for our country and humanity”.
