The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was absent on Tuesday as the All Progressives Congress, (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu officially flagged off the 2023 presidential campaigns in Jos, Plateau State.

iBrandtv gathered that President Muhammadu Buhari led a group of APC members to Jos, the Plateau State capital for the official kick-off of campaigns for Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
There had been speculations from some quarters that Osinbajo might not fully support the presidential ambition of Bola Tinubu after losing against the APC primaries in Abuja.
The Vice President’s name was also missing from the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) list but in explaining the absence, the party said President Buhari had directed Osinbajo to focus on governance while the party plays the politics needed to retain power in 2023.

However, while the party flags-off the presidential campaign for its candidate, a video of VP Yemi Osinbanjo at a UN event has surfaced on social media and netizens have taken to their handles to react.
