Ogun Speaker Arrested For Financial Crimes By EFCC

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly,  Olakunle Oluomo, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Lagos.

EFCC operatives caught up with Olakunle Oluomo at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.

Oluomo was arrested in the early hours of Thursday over allegations of offenses bordering on financial crimes and was taken into custody for questioning.

According to information, he was accused of forging signatures for financial documents of the assembly.

Oluomo, represents Ifo I constituency as a legislator at the Ogun State House of Assembly
