Asides the Nigerian Navy, when it comes to safeguarding the territorial integrity of Nigeria on water, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency is a force to reckon with.
Over the years, it has done a lot to improve security and to send strong messages to high sea pirates.
But occasionally, there is a need to reshuffle the agency’s leadership to avoid docility.
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday announced the appointment of Dr. Dayo Mobereola as the new Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
