Nigerians have been thrown into a state of morning following the dead of Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo.

iBrandtv reports that the 51-year-old music producer slumped on Friday morning and died.
News of Okposo’s demise is coming a few months after the singer was involved in a messy cheating scandal which lead to a break from his ministerial work.
Sammie Okposo, however, released a public statement to apologize to his wife, Ozioma, after cheating on her with another lady, African Doll in the United States.
Okposo in the apology which was shared on his Instagram account lamented over the incident which he noted happened in 2021.

The Gospel singer further stated that the development has seen him step aside from ministerial work until “full restoration”.
Reacting to the death of the singer, Nigerians have taken to their social media handle to mourn his demise.
While many prayed for his soul to find peace, others prayed for the family, especially the children he left behind.
