Neymar bagged his first goal contributions since his return to Santos this winter as he led his side to a 3-1 win over Agua Santa.
Neymar joined his boyhood club Santos as a free agent having terminated his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal after the Brazilian was told he was not up to par for Jorge Jesus’ side.
The 33-year-old made his debut against Botafogo and failed to guide Santos to a win in his first three games.
However, Neymar led the Peixe to a 3-1 victory on Sunday as he bagged his first goal from the spot after winning a penalty at the end of one of his classic slalom dribbles.
The former Barcelona star also got an assist as he slid a pass to Guilherme, who scored the third goal of the night to top off what was a stellar performance from the Brazilian winger.
On Instagram, Neymar posted photos from the win and said: “A very important win… Congrats team!!! Let’s go SANTOS.”

The Brazilian is slowly but surely getting back up to speed as he continues to train and play matches with Santos and he will likely be a starter again when the Peixes take on EC Noroeste on Wednesday.
