If you are yet to complete your application for the 2023 National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recruitment exercise, there is good news for you.

The agency has announced the extension of the application deadline for the recruitment exercise on its website by one week.

The agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, gave the new dead line for application in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

The Extension

The NLDEA spokesman says the application, which was earlier set to run from March 12 to April 8, will remain open until April 17.

According to Babafemi, the extension will enable applicants who are yet to complete their application process to do so and those interested to apply before the close of the application.

He says the Chairman of the agency, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd), gave the approval for the extension.

He also said that secondary school leavers and graduates of polytechnics and universities, were eligible to apply.

High Traffic

The agency’s website experienced glitches during the recruitment exercise, due to a “high number” of applications.

According to the agency, over 2,000 applicants were trying to access the recruitment portal at the same time.

The website was not built to accommodate such number per time.

As a result, gaining access was difficult.

The technical team of the agency had addressed the glitches.
