Also, she reveals that her once-admired tummy is no longer the same.

She first spoke about her battle with a life-threatening illness in November 2024, and now, she is shedding more light on how the surgery left her with visible scars.

Omotola disclosed that she had to undergo an emergency gallbladder removal surgery late last year.

While grateful for her survival, she admitted that the physical changes that followed made her momentarily self-conscious.

Sharing a behind-the-scenes moment from a recent photoshoot, she recalled how she instinctively grabbed her top mid-pose, only to be met with an internal voice whispering that her once-prized tummy was no longer the same.

However, instead of allowing insecurity to take over, Omotola reaffirmed her unshakable self-confidence.

“I Refuse To Let Scars Define Me”

In her own words: “Late last year, I had an emergency surgery. My tummy used to be one of the best parts of my body, but it’s not so perfect anymore. During this shoot, I absentmindedly grabbed my top while posing, and I heard a little voice say, ‘There is nothing to show anymore.’ But not me! What will shake my confidence has not been created”.

Omotola further emphasised that scars whether physical or emotional should not diminish one’s self-worth.
