Mary J. Blige announced a new collaboration with Italian fashion designer Giuseppe Zanotti at her “Strength of a Woman” festival at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
She revealed a limited-edition boot called “Giuseppe for Mary J. Blige”.
She said, “My fans have been waiting for a boot from me for a long time, so I knew it had to be perfect. Giuseppe understood what I wanted and helped make it happen.” Mary J Blige has worn thigh-high boots on the red carpet and on stage since the 1990s.
“Boots make me feel strong,” she said. “They help me feel confident when I’m feeling unsure. Putting on a statement boot makes you feel ready to take on the day.”
