Radek Vitek, Manchester United’s Czech goalkeeper, made several impressive saves to keep the game goalless for most of the match.

Despite being outshot 22-5, Manchester United’s defense held strong until the final minute.

The team will continue their pre-season preparations with a friendly against Rangers in Edinburgh, Scotland, on July 20, followed by a tour of the US and a final warmup match against Liverpool at Old Trafford on August 3.

Their Premier League campaign will begin on August 16 with a home game against Fulham.
