Doris Ogah, a lawyer and model hailing from Nigeria’s South-South region, has been crowned Miss Nigeria 2024
Ogah emerged victorious at the 45th edition of the prestigious pageant.
She triumphed over four other finalists—Ann Eneanya, Bukunmi Ogunsanya, Diane Paul and Divine Nelson.
The competition began with 20 semi-finalists, who were unveiled earlier in the week on Tuesday.
After series of eliminations and challenges, Doris Ogah claimed the coveted title.
Also, she succeeded Shatu Garko, the 44th Miss Nigeria, who crowned her during the grand finale.
Taking to Instagram to express her gratitude and excitement, Doris Ogah wrote: “It’s been a lifelong dream to be given the opportunity to serve as an example to inspire and empower countless women and girls around the world”.
Her heartfelt message resonated with her growing fanbase, who celebrated her achievement and vision.
The event, held in Lagos State, was a glamourous affair, with electrifying performances by Nigerian music stars, KCee and Yemi Alade.
They thrilled the audience with their energetic sets.
