The Vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the last general election, Peter Obi, has described the killing of Lawan Andimi, Chairman of the Adamawa State chapter of the Christain Association of Nigeria, CAN, by Boko Haram insurgents as “callous.”
Obi, in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, condoled with his family and the Christian Association of Nigeria over the unfortunate incident.
”I’m saddened by the callous killing of Pastor Lawan Indimi. I condole with his family and the Christian Association of Nigeria over this painful loss.
”May his soul find rest among the saints. ”he wrote.
DAILY POST had reported that the Boko Haram sect executed Lawan Andimi on Monday afternoon weeks after he was declared missing on January 3, 2020.
