France bounced back from their opening day loss to Italy with a convincing win over Belgium in their Nations League campaign.
After being beaten 3-1 by Italy in their League A Group 2 opener, Didier Deschamps’ side faced another challenging match against Belgium.
However, France made changes to their lineup, with captain Kylian Mbappe starting on the bench after playing the full 90 minutes against Italy.
Belgium started strong, but France took the lead just before the half-hour mark.
Kolo Muani capitalized on a loose ball to score his sixth goal for France, giving his team a 1-0 advantage.
After the break, Ousmane Dembele doubled France’s lead with a crisp strike.
Mbappe was brought on midway through the second half and had two good chances to score, but was unable to find the net.
